Customer information
Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing EDUNAMI.
EDUNAMI provides educational and digital learning products and services, which may include digital books, ebooks, downloadable learning materials, online courses, training programs, educational resources, software/digital products, workshops, events and other educational or technology-related offerings.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when a customer may request cancellation, refund, replacement, or resolution for a purchase made through the EDUNAMI platform.
By placing an order on EDUNAMI, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
2. Digital Products
Many products available through EDUNAMI are digital products, including but not limited to:
- Ebooks and digital books
- PDF learning materials
- Study materials
- Templates and downloadable resources
- Software or digital resources
- Digital courses
- Online learning content
- Educational videos or recorded sessions
- Other electronically delivered products
Because digital products can generally be accessed, downloaded, copied or consumed immediately after purchase, orders for digital products are generally non-refundable once the product has been successfully delivered, accessed or downloaded, except in the circumstances specifically described in this policy or where a refund is required under applicable law.
Customers should carefully review the product description, features, format, requirements and other information before completing the purchase.
3. Eligible Refund Situations
A refund may be considered in the following situations:
3.1 Duplicate Payment
If you have accidentally been charged more than once for the same order, the duplicate transaction may be eligible for a refund after verification.
3.2 Payment Successful but Product Not Delivered
If your payment was successfully completed but the purchased digital product is not made available to your account or cannot be delivered due to a technical issue, please contact us.
We will first attempt to resolve the delivery/access issue.
If we are unable to provide the purchased product within a reasonable period, a refund may be issued.
3.3 Technical Defect
If a purchased digital product is materially defective, corrupted, inaccessible or substantially different from the product description, please contact us with details of the problem.
Where reasonably possible, EDUNAMI may first provide:
- A corrected file
- A replacement product
- Updated access
- Technical assistance
If the issue cannot reasonably be resolved, a refund may be considered.
3.4 Unauthorized Transaction
If you believe that a transaction was made without your authorization, contact EDUNAMI immediately.
We may request relevant transaction information to investigate the matter.
You should also contact your bank/payment provider where appropriate.
3.5 Service Cancellation by EDUNAMI
If EDUNAMI cancels a paid course, training program, workshop, event or other service before it is delivered, customers may be eligible for a full or appropriate refund, subject to the specific terms communicated for that offering.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Subject to applicable law, refunds will generally not be provided for:
- Change of mind after purchasing a digital product
- Failure to read the product description before purchase
- Failure to download or access a product when access was successfully provided
- Purchase of the wrong product due to customer error
- Duplicate purchase where the customer has already accessed the product and the duplicate purchase was not reported within a reasonable period
- Dissatisfaction based solely on personal preference where the product substantially matches its description
- Failure to meet a customer's personal learning, career or financial expectations
- Failure to complete a course or training program after receiving access
- Violation of EDUNAMI's Terms & Conditions
- Account suspension or termination resulting from misuse, fraud, unauthorized sharing, redistribution or other violation of platform rules
Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
5. Courses and Training Programs
For courses, live classes, workshops and training programs, the refund rules may vary according to the specific program.
The product/course page may specify:
- Course duration
- Start date
- Access period
- Batch schedule
- Cancellation conditions
- Refund eligibility
- Transfer or replacement conditions
Where a specific course or program has a separate refund policy displayed at checkout, that specific policy will apply to that offering.
6. Cancellation Before Delivery
For products or services that have not yet been delivered or activated, a customer may contact EDUNAMI to request cancellation.
Cancellation eligibility depends on:
- Product type
- Delivery status
- Whether access has already been provided
- Whether the service has already commenced
- The specific terms shown at the time of purchase
Digital products that have already been delivered or accessed may not be cancellable.
7. Refund Request Procedure
To request a refund or report a payment/product issue, email edunami.in@gmail.com.
Please include:
- Customer name
- Registered email address
- Order number
- Razorpay payment ID, if available
- Date of transaction
- Product purchased
- Reason for the request
- Relevant screenshots or supporting information, where applicable
Please do not send your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, password or other sensitive payment credentials.
8. Refund Request Timeframe
Please contact EDUNAMI as soon as you identify a duplicate payment, missing access, technical defect, or unauthorised transaction so we can investigate promptly.
A request will be reviewed under this policy, the product-specific terms, and applicable law. No request deadline in this policy limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Refund Review
EDUNAMI may review:
- Order records
- Payment records
- Product access records
- Download/access logs
- Customer communications
- Technical logs
- Payment gateway information
This information may be used to determine whether the request is eligible.
EDUNAMI may request additional information where reasonably necessary.
10. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, EDUNAMI will initiate the refund through the applicable payment system.
For payments processed through Razorpay, refunds are generally routed back to the original payment method used for the transaction.
The time required for the amount to appear in the customer's account may depend on the bank, card issuer, UPI provider, payment network or other financial institution.
EDUNAMI does not control the processing time after a refund has been successfully initiated with the payment provider.
11. Payment Gateway Charges
Any approved refund will be calculated and issued in accordance with the applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction. This policy does not promise a specific refund amount or processing period.
12. Fraud and Abuse
EDUNAMI reserves the right to investigate transactions that appear suspicious, fraudulent, abusive or unauthorized.
Refund requests may be withheld or declined where there is reasonable evidence of:
- Fraud
- Payment abuse
- Multiple unjustified refund requests
- Unauthorized redistribution of digital products
- Account sharing
- Copyright infringement
- Manipulation of access/download systems
- Other misuse of the EDUNAMI platform
This does not affect any rights available to the customer under applicable law.
13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact EDUNAMI first so that we can investigate and resolve payment or product issues.
If a customer initiates a chargeback or payment dispute, EDUNAMI may provide relevant transaction, order, delivery and access information to the payment provider or financial institution as required for dispute resolution.
14. Policy Changes
EDUNAMI may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
The updated version will be published on this website with a revised effective date.
The policy applicable to a transaction will generally be the policy communicated to the customer at the time of purchase, subject to applicable law.
